the brotherhood of
st. patrick

Being a Godly man is hard enough. Don’t do it alone. Here’s what other men have to say:
"This group really helped me understand my role as a father, husband, & Catholic man in today’s world. When I started, I was not in a good space spiritually. This commitment helped me build a close and personal relationship with Jesus. I was able to develop courage and strength against temptation and sin by being around other men who are struggling with some of the same issues. It is truly amazing to see a room full of men on their knees praying together. There is accountability, understanding, brotherly love, breakfast and of course the Holy Spirit is moving in that community. I would not be where I am at in my faith journey if it wasn’t for a program like this.”
"I would say that this was instrumental in bringing me back to the Catholic faith. Being on the non-denominational side of Christianity for a good 30 years, I had many reservations to unpackmy group never passed judgment and were more than happy to help answer any questions. I had an instant brotherhood. This will be something I continue with every year.”
Beginning September 16th, the Brotherhood of St. Patrick meets every Thursday evening from 8 to 9:30pm in O’Kelly Hall. We hope to see you there!

What is the Brotherhood of St. Patrick?
We have three pillars on which our brotherhood is built:
-
Jesus said that without Him, we can do nothing. This means that we need to look to Him as the source of our strength, and come to know Him as an intimate brother and friend. To do this, we spend time beholding Him in Word and in Sacrament.
-
The goal of the Christian life to be conformed to Christ. To look like Jesus! This happens through intentional brotherhood, pursuing Christ together as men, so that we can become the men we are meant to be.
-
Each of us has been given a vocation and a mission: to bear abundant fruit for the Kingdom; to give our lives so that others may have life; to bestow upon our sons and daughters their eternal inheritance.
