Funerals are typically arranged with the assistance of a funeral home in conjunction with the priest and parish staff. Please contact the funeral home first who will then coordinate the scheduling of a funeral Mass with the priest. Mathias and Todd Borek from Borek-Jennings Funeral Home gave a presentation on the advantages of planning your own funeral where they discussed options available for funeral rites (funeral vigils, readings, music, etc) as well as the unique role that funeral arrangements play in helping our loved ones grieve.
