We are excited to welcome Paco Gavrilides to teach and renew our minds about our identity as sons and daughters of God and the intimacy that God wants to have in relationship with Him. We are excited to celebrate the presence of God in worship, renew our minds in this teaching and for all the breakthrough that will happen in prayer ministry!

God is equipping His Church to live more fully into the powerful Mission of Jesus Christ, and He invited you to be a part of it! Jesus tells us in John 14:12: “He who believes in Me will do the things that I have done…” That is quite a bold statement! Think about that for a minute. What did Jesus do?
The Catechism of the Catholic Church says it this way: “By Confirmation Christians, that is, those who are anointed, share more completely in the mission of Jesus Christ and the fullness of the Holy Spirit with which he is filled…” (CCC 1294)
Jesus invited each of us into His mission. Come be equipped to live more fully into all that Christ has purchased.
This training, presented by Bart Schuchts, is designed to equip and prepare you to live more fully into the mission of Christ.
During this dynamic training, you will be inspired to live into God’s Kingdom purpose, encounter the Father’s love, be empowered to live more fully into confirmational graces, learn to hear His Voice, and learn to pray for physical healing.
Teaching will be augmented by interactive exercises throughout the day.
Join approximately 1,000 women from our diocese and from across the state of Michigan to be inspired and renewed in our faith; enjoy praise and worship music, listen to motivating speakers, celebrate holy Mass with our bishop, shop with our vendors and experience the fellowship of sisterhood in Christ Jesus.
Join us for pizza after the 11:30AM Mass on Sunday, July 28th at the AFFC grounds. Hosted by the Adoption/Foster Care Ministry, this family gathering will allow you to meet adoptive and foster care families in our parish. A representative from the Livingston DHHS will give a short presentation on the need for more parents in our community.
If you have ever considered this for you and your family, come and learn more! All are welcome to free pizza. Please let us know you are coming at our parish Facebook page event.
The summer intensive is an evening school happening July 22-25 that provides a survey of the content offered in the first four quarters of the Encounter School of Ministry over a fast four day period. The summer intensive is perfect for anyone desiring to attend the Encounter School during the year but unable to do so because of distance or schedule. It is also ideal for those discerning their enrollment in the school of ministry but needing greater discernment.
