The Brotherhood of St. Patrick

“Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God.” 1 Peter 2:17

I am really excited to announce the Brotherhood of St. Patrick, a new opportunity for men in our parish, that is replacing “That Man is You.”

What is the Brotherhood of St. Patrick?

As a brotherhood of men, we will be focusing on three pillars of masculine spirituality: to behold, to become, and to bestow.
- To behold the Lord, our model for what it means to be a man, a son, a brother, a husband and a father.
- To daily strive to become the men that God has made us to be for His Glory.
- And to bestow this inheritance on our brothers and sons.

What is different from “That Man is You”?

The time and the content: the Brotherhood of St. Patrick will be on Tuesday nights from 8-9:30pm, beginning September 16th in O’Kelly Hall; “That Man is You” had its own video content, but after using it for the last few years, we decided it was time for something new. As such, we also decided it was time to change the name to something that fit our parish and our vision better.

Who should come?

Any man humble enough to know that he needs more of the Lord. Any man who knows he needs brothers to walk with. Any man who wants to be the best son, brother, husband and father that he can be. Any man who is hungry for more.

Mark your calendar for the Kickoff Night at 8pm, September 16th. We will be tailgating in the parking lot of the PLC. There will be brats, beer, cornhole, the Tiger’s game, and whatever else you bring with you.

You can register here. Feel free to email Fr. Joshua with any questions. (frjoshua@stpatchurch.org)

Youth Formation Registration opens August 1st

Because we are dedicated to forming missionary disciples of all ages, we have an extensive program of Youth Formation here at St. Patrick Parish for kids in Pre-K through 12th grade! While many of the programs are similar to previous years, there are several big changes. To make sure you are ready when registration for all youth formation programs opens up August 1st, all the information on the various offerings is already available on the website under “Youth”. Take a look!

Hope is Purity

Hope is Purity is a Catholic group for men seeking freedom from sexual addictions. The group meets here at the parish on Thursdays at 7pm. If you are interested in more information about the group, email hopeispurity@gmail.com.

Your servant in the Lord,
Fr. Joshua
