Pastor’s Corner — June 14th, 2026
This is Festival Weekend!
Our Festival is June 12-14 at the school grounds. Remember this festival is both a fundraiser (50/50 proceeds are split between the parish and school) and it’s a public way of celebrating our identity and mission as a parish and school. Please see our website for more details on the festival.
Many important details for the festival have been shared via email (including this week). Please check your emails for more information about the Festival, including parking, a full event schedule and a map of the festival grounds.
We often communicate very important things via email that don’t make their way into the bulletin or announcements at Mass. If you are not receiving parish emails, please sign up via the parish website or by clicking this link.
Reminder: Farewell Party for Fr. Joshua
On the last Sunday of the month, we’ll be hosting a party to celebrate Fr Joshua. This is where we’ll have an opportunity to send him off, thanking God and thanking him for his service. He’ll say goodbye that weekend and I’ll say more about this that last weekend as well.
Fr Peter Randolph
As you can see here, our deacon has become a priest. Last Saturday, his ordination Mass was very moving and I was so happy to see so many parishioners there supporting him. Please join me in thanking and praising God for his ordination.
Special Thanks to School Staff
Last week was our last day of school. In a special way, I want to give a shout-out to all of the school teachers and staff. Education in today’s world is very challenging and it takes a lot of hard work and perseverance to do it well. But it is also a very rewarding task. What I’ve witnessed among the staff this year has been truly amazing. I honestly believe that we probably have the best school staff in the Diocese.
I want to offer a special shout out to our Principal Carley Dunphey, Assistant Principal Colin Coulter and Operations Manager Lisa Klein for their steadfast leadership. Their educational and spiritual leadership continues to sharpen our focus and reinforce the kind of culture we envision for St Pat’s, where we offer values-driven families an authentic Catholic education so that they can encounter God’s love and their children have a steady place to discover their God-given purpose.

Remember, the school is the biggest ministry of the parish and I believe we’re doing a really good job and we’re only getting better. I am so thankful for the gift of all of our teachers and staff of our school!
Your servant in the Lord,
Fr. Mathias
