Major Announcement Via Email

If you are reading this column early online, you will not have received our announcement until later this week.  But if you are reading this on the weekend, you’ve probably heard by now what we announced.  If not, it should be live on our website by Saturday.  Check the homepage.

Walking with Jesus in Holy Week

I cannot recommend enough coming to the Holy Triduum here (Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Vigil on Saturday).  These liturgies are the most beautiful and profound of the entire liturgical year.

At the Easter Vigil we will baptize six people, and bring seven more into full communion with the Catholic Church.  Even if you can’t come, may you walk closely with Christ this Holy Week so that you might come to know more deeply his crucified love for you.

For the schedule of Triduum liturgies and livestream options, please check within the bulletin, as there has been a location change for some.

Parish Healing Service at PLC on April 9th

Encounter Ministries is going to be doing another physical healing service at the parish on Friday, April 9th, in the Parish Life Center.  I was with the Encounter team in Florida last week and we saw some great healings.  There’s something powerful about witnessing people testify to losing pain they’ve had for over 30 years.  This will be done livestreamed on Zoom as well, but if you wish to livestream you must register ahead of time to get a link.

Remember, these services aren’t just for people who are terminally ill, but other sicknesses as well.  Please invite people you know who are sick and praise God with them.

Your servant in the Lord,
Fr. Mathias
