Soft Reopening of Newly Renovated McCann Hall Moved to September 26-27
You should have received an email to the parish from Ryan explaining that because of multiple construction delays we had to push back the opening of McCann. This means next weekend we will have a soft opening of McCann Hall. And our ministry fair is pushed back to October 11th.
OCIA Adapted for Children: Baptism and First Communion for Children Ages 7-17
If you have a child who is (a) older than 6 years old and not baptized or (b) older than 2nd grade, and hasn’t received First Communion, please consider signing them up for our Youth OCIA program which will begin soon. This process of Christian Initiation is necessary for children in this situation. Welcome Sarah Jones! Our new Marriage Preparation Coordinator
I’m happy to announce that we’ve hired St Pat’s Parishioner Sarah Jones as our new Marriage Preparation Coordinator.
Hello, everyone!
My name is Sarah Jones, and I am honored to serve as the new Marriage Preparation Coordinator at St. Patrick’s.
My husband (Christopher) grew up going to St. Patrick, whereas I converted to Catholicism at the age of 13. Although we were civilly married in 2018, our faith journey led us back to the Church. Chris was confirmed in 2025 and we were remarried in a Catholic wedding mass on June 20, 2026. God is good in so many ways, but how He works through the Holy Sacrament of Matrimony is truly beautiful!
I am excited to begin walking with engaged couples who are preparing for the sacrament of Holy Matrimony, as well as couples seeking convalidation of their marriage! It’s a wonderful process, and one that I feel very blessed to be a part of.
I look forward to getting to know many of you. Please feel free to reach out anytime. May God bless all of our families, and may He continue to strengthen the vocation of marriage in our parish.
With about forty weddings a year, Sarah will have to hit the ground running. For those of you reading this in the midweek email, Sarah starts today learning her new role.
As you know, Heather Dent, her predecessor, is leaving to spend more time with her family in New Jersey while I am on sabbatical, and likely remain as my assistant when I return.
